its quite funny thinking about what the future has in store for me.

i remember when i was in kindergarten and primary school, my life was like art art and art. kept drawing, colouring, taking part in art competitions, and uh managing somehow to win prizes in some of them.

then haha secondary school is interesting. i dont know how by chance i joined band and picked up the oboe, and now my life is centered around music. joining sywo, snyo, and being [too] crazy about the oboe.

i wonder if this is just a passing phase, like the art thing, that has since diappeared into thin air. haha i think i have the passion for it but i wonder if there's the talent and the extra spark that will make me stand out from the few million people. I hope it'll be something though.

sometimes i hate it when im in one of those thinking moods.

maybe ill be a marine biologist ><

i don't like chem pt :( 40 bucks on a pt is too much :( so xin tong. and i'm very sick of vinegar too. i went up the bus smelling of vinegar haha. ><

and my chem notes are nonexistant :(

i had a dream last night. but it ended before i could find out the ending! haha so now i don't know whether or not i was late for school in the end. not very impt lah, but still very suspenseful! hahaha.

my father and my brothers are addicted to the mini gym. at 2am they were competing on the leg lift thing i think haha. so act macho :b

haha when i see pple suffering with fps now i'm so glad we're over and done with it.

i like going for her lessons cause she'll always tell me something im doing wrongly now or something to improve on then ill feel so inspired to prac and sound as zai as her ><

coming here to blog is now very sian and boring cos i know im only talking to myself HAHA. i wonder why..

this weekend and the week ahead is gonna be rather hectic..

hey. (this is becoming very like a personal blog.) anyway! yo general meeting today was rather lame and funny haha but the food was great.

today lesson was good too! i realised that practising the day before actually works. but of course ill try not to do that la. got a new reed today but just realised it is chipped/just got chipped i dont know. but as long as it sounds fine i dont really care! (:

anyway haha for those nice people who asked (: the sch concert is really for the sch people and yah it'll prob be during school hours anyway so (prob) get to skip school next next tues.

minyen asked just now how it felt like that cadenza was over. i think the general sense for all of us is relief, but for our batch emptiness that our last concert with rgssb is over. its so weird how past batches stepped down after cadenza. but now there's this competition thing and we cannot hand over yet. hopefully cadenza has given esp the sec 2s the feeling of what a rgssb concert is like (despite not living up to past cadenzas) and hopefully when we come back for the next cadenza (cadenza XI) the repetoire will be much much more interesting and the standards of the band will be higher than it is now.

i really hope next time i can come back and see the oboes playing some solo works thingy with the band or some concerto or some duet (:

good news. my sister videoed part of cadenza. haha dont know which parts though. from what she says she got part of romanza. ><>

today's a happy day. lala, lala. got to see 2 darlings today!! (:

hm 6th april 06. our last cadenza. its quite funny we were thinking this was our second worst performance, after inunion 05. and strange enough, both of these performances were under the leadership of our batch -.-

i really dont know what to say about cadenza. i guess it wont have as lasting an impression as cadenza 9 gave me.

lets just say..
im glad we went through cadenza in the end. with our full batch there. guess its really a good closure for us.

sleepover at lynette's was quite fun. haha though everyone was alternating between being dead/hyper. and lynette was being zilian again. taking gross pictures of herself using minmin's camera HAHAHA >< (looks around innocently). for those that missed the sleepover. basically we bathed (some more willingly than others) :b, some tried to play pool and ended up hitting the ceiling with the pool stick causing some dust to fall to the floor, and listened to the recording :(, and ate, and tried to talk about depressing and not so depressing stuff, and got bulldozed by shuhui ><

i guess now all of us can concentrate on other stuff! its quite funny kristine rach and i got it on the same day :b hm.

i dont know what to think of mr oura anymore. its getting me very confused. somehow every meeting of hers seems to cause such a heated reaction. - which makes me think of a new nickname for her, catalyst!

i think our batch has failed miserably. how i wish band could be only about the music and nothing else.
